Residential House Manager (f/t)

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who works directly with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them live their "best life" while engaging within their community and at home.
​
Qualification Requirement
Full-time position with various shifts.
​
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED), and must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a current driver’s license with 5 points or less, and deemed acceptable to drive by A Simple Leap's liability insurance company
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Ability to cook and prepare basic meals-a plus
• Knowledge or experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
• Successfully pass initial and ongoing State/Federal Criminal Background checks CARI checks, Central Registry checks and drug screens.

A Simple is seeking to hire part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in our Community Services Program to support adults with developmental disabilities in help meet their ongoing life's goals.

A Simple Leap is seeking to hire professionals to assist individuals and their families in the development of Individualized service plans(ISP) to address their service needs by identifying and connect them with needed services and supports to improve their quality of life within the home and the community.
​
Qualification Requirements
Part-Time
​
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and one year of experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Able to solve problems independently, effectively and creatively
• Excellent time management skills to be able to juggle multiple plans for multiple families simultaneously
• Must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our families
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must have computer experience.
• Bilingual Spanish - a plus
